Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra General Secretary Champat Rai announced that a religious flag will be hoisted on November 25, 2025.
Preparations have already begun, and unlike the consecration ceremony of January 22, 2024, this event will involve inviting people from neighboring districts of Ayodhya and across eastern Uttar Pradesh. On the question of the Prime Minister’s participation, he said, “I cannot say anything on this right now.”
Rai further informed that the tenure of construction agencies working on the Shri Ram Temple project has been extended until March 2026.
The boundary wall of the temple is under construction, while civil work on the International Ram Katha Museum is ongoing.
The display installations will follow after the civil work is completed. The museum will showcase the life and character of Lord Shri Ram through advanced video projections.
“IIT-Madras is developing 3D to 7D projections for the Ram Katha Museum, which will feature 20 galleries. Preparations are underway to preserve original copies of the Ramayana. These copies are being collected from different states.”
“A youth from Ayodhya district alone has 52 original copies. All museums across India are being approached to donate or lease documents and pictures related to Lord Ram. Sandeep Singh, retired from the National Museum, has been assigned responsibility for the museum,” Rai added.
